Common questions
Things people ask before reaching out
Is date coaching the same as therapy?
No — coaching is forward-focused and action-oriented. We're not analyzing your past in depth; we're using what we learn about your patterns to build a better path forward. If therapy is something you need, I'll always tell you honestly.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your goals. Some clients make real progress in 3–4 sessions. Others prefer an ongoing package for deeper, sustained change. We'll figure out what's right for you on the discovery call.
Do you work with all genders and orientations?
Absolutely. My clients are a mix of men and women across all orientations. The science of confidence, communication, and connection applies to everyone.
I haven't dated in years. Is it too late?
Not even close. Many of my clients are coming back to dating after years focused on career, family, or recovery. Starting over can feel daunting — but it's also a genuine fresh start, and that's something we can work with.
Can I do sessions online?
Yes — I work with clients in Eugene, OR in person and with clients across the Pacific Northwest and beyond online. All you need is a quiet space and a reliable connection.
